Debuting at the LA Motor Show next month, the extended Range Rover comes with 5.51 inches of extra rear legroom and seats that recline to 17 degrees if you choose "Executive Class" rear seats instead of the bench. Later there will be a hybrid version too. 'L' badges are mounted on the side of the vehicle to let you know that it is indeed larger than normal.

These photos are of of the uber-expensive Autobiography Black which costs $226,891.

I'm just wondering if you guys think that the QX80 can compete with the long wheel base Range Rover? Not this super expensive special edition, but just the regular version.

I think that this is where Infiniti is aiming though. Its next QX80 should step things up a bit so that even if it isn't better than the Range Rover it will at least be able to compete.

That Range Rover looks first class. Look at the little tray that folds out in the back seat!

That is not to say that the QX80 and the Escalade are bad vehicles. The Range Rover is just really really nice. Especially this long wheel base version. You don't think that Infiniti can up its game with its next QX80 model and be a better competitor to the Range Rover?

The QX80 and Escalade aren't bad vehicles, they're actually amazing for the segment they serve, it's not just not something you want to put in the same sentence as a RR like this.
And if Nissan corp ever makes a RR Sport competitor, they shouldn't just throw it under the Infiniti brand but create a new high end brand, like how Mercedes has Maybach.
