Default 2015 Infiniti QX80 Review

Quote:
I think a new class of vehicle needs to be created.

Yes, I know, there are already too many classifications as it stands, but nothing describes the sheer size, presence, capability and fuel thirst of sport utility vehicles like the Cadillac Escalade, Lincoln Navigator or Infiniti QX80. I propose we call these behemoths MUVs, as in Monumental, Monstrous, Massive or my personal favorite, Mammoth Utility Vehicles.

And king amongst these prehistoric beasts, at least from a presence standpoint, is the Infiniti QX80. With looks that can simultaneously scare children and impress suburban gangsters, the QX80 is unlike anything else on the road. With subtle tweaks this year front and back; its flashier looking with more in-your-face personality than the pedestrian Navigator or too-suave Escalade. If The Beast from X-Men were an SUV, hed be the QX80.

Just bought the 2015. We upgraded from the FX 50. I love this vehicle. I'm curious if they will import the hybrid power plant to this in the next couple of years. It's underrated at 360 hp. Our Q50s crushed our fx50. I'm sure it would propel the 80 down the road just fine. I do love the V8 tho. Any ideas on brake controllers out there ?? For a heavy camper.

Sounds like we're a little a like. I just reluctantly traded in my FX50 since I now need a tow vehicle. I'm planning on getting the Tekonsha P3 brake controller coupled with their 3050-P wiring adapter.
