Nissan/Infiniti has issued a recall for more than 133,000 vehicles in the US because of a potential fuel leak. One of the affected vehicles is the 2014-2015 Infiniti QX80.
Nissan explains that there is a sensor within the fuel system that is suspected to not have been sufficiently tightened during the assembly process. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor could loosen with vehicle usage and cause a fuel leak.
In,addition to the Infiniti QX80, the recall also affects certain 2012 to 2014 Nissan Jukes, 2012 to 2013 Infiniti M56, QX56, and 2014-2015 Infiniti Q70s.
The recall is supposed to begin on January 26th, 2015. Check with the NHTSA or Nissan to see if your vehicle is affected.
