Hello all! This past weekend my wife and I bought a new 2017 QX80, just looking for confirmation that we got an amazing deal as the dealer claimed we did ;)

We got a White on Wheat one that was fully loaded (but not a Limited version), had deluxe tech, driver assistance, theater, and tire and wheel packages. It also had all weather mats and the cargo area protector and net as well as the illuminated kick plates. List price was $82k and some change. Dealer took off $12500 and had already installed some Xpel on it so it came out to about $71k. So did we get an amazing deal? or just an OK one? I haven't bought a brand new vehicle for a long time so wasn't sure what is normal for dealers to take off MSRP.

We were originally looking for a 2015+ used one but wanted a fully loaded one and it was apparent it was going to be very difficult to find, especially when wanting a White/Wheat one. The dealer had this new one that matched everything we wanted and after working out this deal we decided to make it work.

We are definitely fans of Infiniti! I started out with a new 05 G35 coupe, then traded that in on an 04 QX56 when we had our first kid. Shortly after that we got my wife an 04 QX56 as well. Last year i traded my QX56 in on a 2012 FX35 and now we replaced her QX56 with the 2017 QX80. We attempted to look at other SUV's but they styling and features of Infiniti kept bringing us back :D

That's a good deal. Depending on how much Xpel was applied you could have paid a slight premium for that service.
I bought a QX80 Limited ... $90,350 to $82,500 using affiliates program. Xpel partial hood and bikini cut for fenders was $900 at a local shop.

thanks for the reply! they had already applied ~$900 worth of Xpel and we upgraded to cover the entire front end, headlights, and side mirrors for a total of ~$1600. i'm sure there was a premium built into that but the front end is so huge that we wanted to minimize rock chips. we also had them do the cilajet, interior and exterior, for just under $1000. we had reservations on that but my wife wants her car staying/looking nice and clean so we decided to go ahead with it. we have a really good dealer here that doesn't screw people over so we felt like they would at least keep up there end of it.

we picked it up last night and it sure did look beautiful :D
