I just did this recently. There was a video I found online that was close, but now I can't find the link. While it's not that difficult, you do have to remove six Torx screws and pull out the glovebox.
I'll see if I can find the video...
- First pull down the lower panel under the glovebox (pic 1) to expose the first three Torx screws and remove them (pic 2)
- Then open the glovebox door and remove the three Torx screws across the top (pic 3)
- You also have to pinch the tabs on each side of the white light in the middle to push it in a little
- Next you then have to pull out the whole glovebox assembly
- The air filter cover can then be removed and you can swap out the filter
- Reverse the steps to put everything back together
