Just bought a 2016 Infiniti QX80....they are trying to sell me a small electronic corrosion control device, and most of what I have read about these things suggest they are not only not useful but perhaps even detrimental. Anyone have any experience with this?
New owner advice? What about extended warrantee?

Don't know about the corrosion device. Usually vehicles are pretty well sealed and more impervious to rust than older generations.

Many times extended warranties are not worth it, but with the electronics and all the stuff in my 2016 limited I added 3 additional years just to be covered since I usually hold these SUV's for 10 years.
I got mine from my local dealer. Next time I'll call around ... there are a few Infiniti dealerships referenced on different forums that offer the warranty below retail and if out of state ... NO TAX.
