I didn't realize before that the 8th seat was an option and the QX80 usually came with 7 seats. I'm not sure that I'd use the 8th seat very often so it may be worth it to just go with the 7 seat option and leave the middle row center console there.

Just wondering what everybody else was going to opt for.

8 seat option since we have a bit of a big family, 7 seat would be enough but no harm going one more.

We bought the Captain's chairs in the second row, complete w/luxurious armrest/console/storage compartment. Just two of us now, plus guests ( 2 ).

Have already taken a 1,000mi. trip w/2 of our family. Everyone rode is complete comfort, cruising @ 85mph. w/Active Cruise Control. NICE!
