Bought a brand new QX80 in June and it's been in for service 3 times due to the engine light coming. They think the issue is a faulty fuel pump. Anyone else have this problem? Had the car for just 3 months and thus far its been in the Infinti service bay for 12 days total.

From my experience they often won't do anything much about it, all you would get while your vehicle is being worked on is a loaner, but that's standard practice and nothing out of the ordinary and nothing as a "sorry"

That's pretty darn sad. One of my good buddies actually bought a car brand new from a Subaru dealership. Had to go back within the first 2 months for an issue that was supposed to take 30 minutes. Ended up taking the whole day so they gave him a loaner vehicle and promised him they would fix his first small dent for free when it happened because of the inconvenience it caused him.

If it's an day-long job then they should offer to shuttle you to where you have to go and many dealers do that, loaner/rental is another option. Just a matter of asking them what accommodations will be made. Worst case scenario you get your own rental, pay for it out of your own pocket and go through the process of getting them to reimburse you.
