Front distance sensor

I'll try and get a look at my 2014 and get back to you tomorrow. Could you reply with a another image but a bit further away? I don't recognize that configuration at all....

It is the way it is. My 2014 QX80 with 130,000 miles is the same, but it is very important to keep it clean. Frequent washings will help keep your vehicle from getting false readings, such as sudden stops, as mine did a few years ago. After pulling off the drive of a local mall, I inspected the sensor to discover several large dead moths stuck to the lense. I pulled out a rag and wiped it clean and have kept it that way, fastidiously. Since then, there have been no further issues.

Ah, thanks for checking and for the tip about keeping it clean. I figured that would be crucial so I frequently check that's free of debris and I plan to wash frequently. I feel reassured now that I'm not missing anything! Thanks!
