Heater core might be in need of changing, I heard of situations of that happening with new cars but it happens. As for the water sound, i'm not sure. Seeing how you posted this a couple weeks ago, did you get a chance to take it into the dealer as yet?
Gurgling sound in dash
Just purchased 2015 qx 80 with 7,500 miles. Am getting a constant gurgling or warer flowing sound in dash. Heat does not work also. Any ideas before I head to dealer

Any update on the issue? I'm sure by now it's been resolved but I would still like to hear how that went.
