Here is the new 2015 Lincoln navigator. It will officially debut at the Chicago Motor Show next month.

Lincoln replaced the 5.4-liter V8 engine that has been in the navigator for years with a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine that produces 370 horsepower and 430 lb-ft of torque. The V6 is actually more powerful than the V8 it replaces. SO no love is lost there.

The front of the Navigator took on a new bumper, new grille, and revised HID headlamps. The back gets a lightbar, and 20 inch machined aluminum wheels come standard.

Interior updates include new centre console, a revised instrument cluster and a new four spoked steering wheel.

The navigator should go on sale next fall. Things like pricing and gas mileage figures will be published closer to the navigator's on sale date.

How does this new challenger measure up to the QX80?

They are pretty sick rims but I think that they are suited to larger vehicles only. I think more spokes looks good on big vehicles while less spokes looks better on sedans.

What is everyone's opinion on the light bar on the back> I think that it looks forced. They should have changed the design of the back end to make better use of the light bar design feature. There is unrealized potential there.

I think that it would have been cool if they did something with the back of the Navigator similar to what they did with the MKC. How the back hatch curves around the side of the car. They call it a "clam-shell" I believe. I think it would make the back look less boxy and might integrate the light bar into the design better.
