It was first shown off at the 2014 New York Auto Show, but guests were able to get another look at the Infiniti QX80 Limited Edition model at the LA Auto Show last month. This vehicle comes with tons of features that are usually offered as options on the standard model. In fact, the only thing that customers have the option of adding is the choice of exterior shades.
The QX80 Limited Edition differentiates itself from the regular version with an exclusive set of dark-tinted LED headlamps and taillights, LED lighting under the brush finish running boards, dark chrome finish on the grille surround, side vents, roof rails and crossbars, A-pillars, door handles, license plate surround and side mirror caps. Add to that a set of big 22-inch alloy wheels that are finished in dark chrome too.
Customers will be able to choose from the standard array of three colors for the QX80 -- Liquid Platinum, Black Obsidian and Majestic White -- as well as 3 extra colors, which are Imperial Black, Mocha Almond, and Dakar Bronze.
The interior also receives a lot of attention. Leather seats are treated with a unique seat quilting with silver contrast piping and stitching. The interior is trimmed with wood while the dashboard has a combination of black and brown leather. It also comes with the Theater and Deluxe Technology pack for entertainment, as well as safety features like the Intelligent Cruise Control and Blind Spot Warning.
The engine is the same as in the satandard QX80, a 5.6-liter V8 that produces 400 hpa nd 560 Nm of torque. That is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.
