Well my wife has been looking online for a QX80 for some time now, and we finally pulled the trigger! With my last few vehicles, online forums like this one have been essential in learning my way around the vehicle and also find some new 'tricks and hacks' to unleash usability in my vehicle.

Do you happen to know if there are any aftermarket footwell led lights? I just purchased a QX80.

Hi folks,
I've been replacing some of my interior lighting in a 2019 QX80 with blue LEDs. I'm using Sylvania, "Zevo" bulbs, p/n 194B. My parts store stocking # is 194BLEDBP (same as on the back of the package). So far, they're working as perfect replacements for the factory incandescants in the 4 lower door lights, the footwells and the two overhead, rear passenger lights. The blue glow from those is really pretty cool, but is kind of drowned out by the bright map lights in the front.
I haven't, so far, been able to find instructions on how to replace the front map lights - seems like prying on the trim around them wants to move the entire overhead console & sunglasses pocket. I'm not confident enough to pull on it harder, and I don't see any screws, rivets, attachment clips. Does anyone know how to change the map lights in a 2019?
