Hello all. New here and I have a 2014 QX80 with only 24K miles on it. The surround around the steering wheel controls is now peeling off and is brittle. I have a call into the dealer but wanted to see if this is a known issue? See attached.

I haven't seen this on the new models. My older 2008 G interior finish didn't hold up, so far so good on my 2016 QX80

Its hard to tell from the picture but could it be scratch from a ring or something similar?
