Good morning. Just joined the forum this morning. My 1st question is about the protector for the top of the rear bumper cover. Mine had come off or been removed some time ago and was replaced some aftermarket thing stuck down off-center with 3M mounting tape. My intention is to just remove it all and maybe look for a decent, used oem protector. Actual pic of my new baby

Got my question answered. At the dealership when I was picking up some other things. Apparently, in 2014 (and some other years) the stainless bumper protector was an accessory and not standard on all QX80's. I am thinking about possibly applying some traction tape so my dogs can jump in the back easier.
